Discourse/NodeBB users can have his own picture as avatar, can this forum have such a function?

Yeah, there would be, although it's not the original philosophy.

Really need a way to add an small image of the user, how could implement that? No idea yet

Need to add a field to user schema, and put the avatar path to it, and render this avatar in front page.
