After the git and github session, it is my opinion that the git session was great (see issue #1 for improvements) ! Some suggestions for future intermediate git and github courses I have focuses on the github portion.

There were a lot of pop-up audience suggestions focused on github tools:

Github copilot
Github Actions
Github codespace
Licenses and choosing one:

  • note, scholarly communications at UC Davis is a great resource!

We could think on the comparison of tokens verse ssh keys and there specific use cases:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/67077837/in-what-ways-is-an-ssh-key-different-from-tokens-for-git-authentication

Audience suggestion was "I have a github account and repo, how can I use it more efficiently, better, differently?"

Maybe in the future it would be best to split this one session into two: Git session and a Github session?
