It would be nice to autodiscover the appliances. I see a few way:

  • Some (all?) appliance regularly broadcast an UDP packet.
  • I think you can do something with the existing dhcp discovery mechanism

I'll look into this, I'm not sure how much effort it requires. Just keep in mind that users still need to install this custom integration first, the discovery process won't be as "magical" as with the internal integrations.
