I propose adding a new sorting type, "Custom Order," which will allow users to group mods.
In brief, here's what I mean: add a tab or button that changes the sorting type to "Custom Order," similar to Spotify's playlist organization feature. This would allow users to place mods in a specific order and create mod groups that can be named as desired and hidden with a single click.
Example:
Imagine you have a local build with a multitude of mods, some of which conflict with each other. Finding the conflicting mod among many others can be challenging. With the mod grouping feature, you could create groups such as "Optimization" (e.g., Sodium, Entity Culling, Lithium), "Libraries/API," "Visual Enhancements," and others. This would simplify the search and management of mods, allowing users to hide and show entire groups as needed.
