Heltec V3 - Detection sensor doesn't seem to work FW 2.5.15

I'm experimenting with the Meshtastic detection sensor module without much success.
I've configured the module to use GPIO48 and use the pull up.
It's set to active on logic low. Minimum broadcast time 45 sec and 0 sec State.
Friendly name is 12 chars long (mailbox door).
I measure 3.3v on the pin with the pull up on and 0v with it off, so that is working.
When I pull the pin low nothing happens. I've watched the text screen and the debug for associated activity and see none.

On other sites I've seen mention of sensor and client configurations, but I see no option for client in the nodes menu.
Did this possible change with the 2.5 security changes?

Are you using a private primary channel?

No, just Ch0 open so I've done nothing. There are two other private channels on this node.

The detection sensor is restricted on the default channel, make a private primary channel

Thanks! That did the trick. Now the message shows up at the far end with the same primary private configuration.
