I have searched for existing issues that may be the same as or related to mine.
NOTE: This FR is a sibling to #481 . Whilst they are closely related, each of them can be implemented, and will be useful, on its own.
The Problem
If you want to paste a bunch of notes above/under/below a particular destination note, you can easily long-press to select that destination note, tap the Paste icon in the top right context menu, and choose Paste above or Paste under or Paste below, according to your needs.
However, if you need to search for the destination note first, there is no Paste icon if you select the destination note in search results. Instead, you have tap the destination note in order to open it, then tap the leftmost element in the tiny path line above the note's title in order to show the note in its containing notebook, then long-press the note there, to finally get the Paste icon that you can tap to choose Paste above or Paste under or Paste below, according to your needs.
I can see no reason the latter procedure should be any more convoluted than the first.
Moreover, it is far from obvious, unlike the readily available Paste button with selections in plain notebook views.
Suggested Solution
The user should be offered a Paste button (with the usual submenu Paste above/Paste under/Paste below) in the top right context menu immediately whenever a single note is selected in search results, just like with a single selected note in plain notebook view.
