I noticed when dealing fatal damage to certain enemies the body parts fly up straight vertically instead of randomly, monsters I have noticed are demon types, chaingunner types and also cyberdemon types.
Weapons used on the smaller enemies were explosion based (micro missiles and rocket launcher), whereas the cyberdemon does this no matter how you kill him.
I had a look to see if I could fix it myself, but the angle seems to be set "random (0,360)" like many others.
Any idea what might be causing it?
