When I use metric or switch sensor nodes with any short interval my Tellstick ZNet Lite v2 stops working after some time (minutes to hours).
I began with 5 temperature/humidity sensor that I read every 60sec, didn't work, had to set the interval up to 120sec.
Then I tried to add a switch sensor node with a 2sec interval and only to message when state change, same problems, even tried to set up the interval to 10sec (to slow for the task) but no luck, it works for a couple of hours then the Tellstick locks up and you must power cycle it to get it to work again.
Have about 15 device nodes active, only sends a message when a device need to change state, so not much traffic from them.

Hi,

I no longer use Tellstick, thus I do not do any development of these packages anymore. I've let them remain if anyone want to pick them up and make something out of them.

In regards to your problem, I have had many similar problems with timeouts, freezes, automation not working etc. I had long discussions with Telldus regarding this, but they could not try to sort out their issues. Being a developer myself I kind of understood their issues and problems but they didn't want to pay attention to it. They even offered me a replacement Tellstick but I declined as I lost faith in them after all problems. I bought a raspberry PI + Z-wave USB stick, and run HomeAssistant on that now instead. I haven't experienced any issues the past 2 years with it. I can highly recommend everyone to ditch Telldus.

Thanks for answer, even if this project isn't active any more. Yeah it seems the only solution is to replace the tellstick with something else.

Could it be the NodeRed-flows that hangs? If I encounter this, and edit a switch/sensor-node, it reconnects (goes green again)..
