[Request] Looking for a maintainer for the BuildOnDot Project Ideas Directory #4
Comments
I am a strong believer in the potential of Polkadot and have been actively engaged in the ecosystem through my contributions to projects like Polkadot Heroes Programme for developers. My experience as a technical advocate for The Graph, coupled with my deep dive into Substrate through the 60-day Polkadot coding challenge, has solidified my passion for building within this space. I am eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to the BuildOnDot Project Ideas Directory. I believe that by adding a "Level" column (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) to the excel sheet , we can better guide developers and encourage participation from all skill levels. I am confident that my dedication and commitment to the Polkadot ecosystem will make me a valuable contributor to this project. Thank you for your time and consideration. 😃 |
@vishal-sys thanks for your comment! We already have a levels column as you can see in the SS below. However, if you'd like to collate ideas to populate and keep the list up to date, I think that would be valuable to the community. If you want you can start by making a duplicate sheet and updating the ideas to be more descriptive/removing outdated ideas and adding resources to each idea to make it easier for newcomer devs to work on. |
Done , I'll do that |
Thnx for the opportunity, I'm looking forward to contributing to
this project
So in short I need to update the Excel sheet by updating new ideas.

BuildOnDot is an Ideas Directory to help developers and businesses find the right ideas to contribute to Polkadot.
Since OpenGov launched, I’ve seen dozens of treasury proposals miss the mark, often disconnected from community needs and inevitably rejected.
This directory aims to bridge that gap, offering ideas aligned with the community’s needs, offering newcomers an easy way explore a wide range of ideas for their Web3 Project or Treasury Proposal On Polkadot, setting them up for success.
We need someone who can actively moderate and maintain this list.
It is as simple as updating the
is_verified
column for a given idea in this spreadsheet toTRUE
to approve any submitted idea. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
