Issue

Python 3.7 is officially unsupported by the community since mid-2023, and I see some possibly related issues in the CI

Run actions/setup-python@v4
Installed versions
Version 3.7 was not found in the local cache
Error: The version '3.7' with architecture 'arm64' was not found for macOS 14.7.2.
The list of all available versions can be found here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/actions/python-versions/main/versions-manifest.json

Suggestion

Maybe it's time to say thank you and good bye to 3.7? 👋 ⛵ (to save us some complications)
