As described in the title, whenever I open ilia with $mod + space and I select the program I want to open with the arrow keys and press enter. It opens the first program listed

If you filtered listed items with a search it will open the first currently listed. This is especially annoying if you have 2 apps with the same name (whatsapp web for work and whatsapp web for personal use)

If I use the mouse to select the correct program, it will work as intended

I'm running regolith 3.0 updated to the latest version on Ubuntu 22.04 using sway, but if memory serves me I encountered the same problem on a older laptop on 20.04 and regolith 2.0

Interesting! Yes, I can see how this might be a problem. I didn't consider the case that multiple apps would use the same name, but the use case makes sense. Regarding the video, I didn't notice you specify a filter that presented two apps w/ the same name..am I missing something?

True the movie does not specify a filter. However, It should show me using the arrow keys to highlight "Microsoft edge" And the app being openened is files/nautilus (the top one listed)

Does that clarify?
