On Android course change via dialog is not accepted by the pypilot.

Its possible to activate or deactivate the Pypilot. Commanded course and mode is shown.

@nocheinpeter Please test the new version 0.40.31 and report results. I think this may be fixed with the update. Thanks.

@nocheinpeter Please explain further and in more detail to help us isolate the problem. Thank you.
On Android, what version of android?
Does pypilot_pi download, install and enable without error messages?
Does the menu open?
Do the icons work normally?
Can you attach an opencpn.log file?
Thank you.

I believe this has been solved and will become available in the next release. Thank you.

Peter, I am trying to update Sean's frontend to TP 1.0.302.0 and have been able to build most of the needed OS here in cloudsmith, https://cloudsmith.io/~opencpn/repos/pypilot-prod/packages/?q=0.53.0.0+android+tarball I believe that android built, could you please test it and report here?

I am having trouble right now getting 3 flatpak and 1 msvc.

Hi,

unfortunately I cannot import a plugin on Android, the import button is missing: Screenshot

The screenshot is from by Galaxy Tab A7 lite with lower resolution, but the buttons are also missing on my Tab S9 FE with high resolution.

Peter

Peter, I am sorry, Maybe you could place the metadata file under the plugins/cache/metadata folder and the tarball file under the plugins/cache/tarball folder? Then it should appear in options/plugins.

But perhaps the best thing to do is wait until Bdbcat merges my PR to the plugins catalog, and then you can simply update the catalog and install it.

I will test it next weekend, but the dialog hides the menu bar. If auto hide for the menu is activated there will be a deadlock.

See Screenshot

Sorry, issue still exists on Android. I can remember, that it worked on windows. Maybe the problem is how the buttons for course change are generated?

@nocheinpeter Thank you for persisting. I will ask Sean if he can fix this.
