If I'm not wrong the lgBeforeOpen event doesn't offer the index of the first slide but I need it right before lg opens.
why? I managed it to create blurry backgrounds for every slide, but opening the first is delayed because I have to use lgAfterSlide. This is of course too late to create the background before lg is shown completely. Atm I'm using additional DOM-events for every thumbnail in the site to fix that.
