This handy app is about to become completely obsolete unless it gets upgraded to 64-bit. macOS will stop supporting 32-bit apps in the next major OS release.

Just to second this -- I absolutely love Reggy! Would hate to not get to use it just because it's 32-bit.

@samsouder hasn't been particularly active on this repo, so I have to assume the project is essentially abandoned.

I have a personal fork which removed OgreKit (because I couldn't get that to compile at all), and instead uses NSRegularExpression which Apple introduced in Mac OS X Lion (10.7). I still regularly use this, though I've not tried it on Catalina yet. Hopefully nothing major will break, but if it does I'm likely to fix it since nothing matches Reggy for speed and ease of use.

Should anyone want to have a play with my fork, I've created a release.

@Drarok, thanks a lot! This app is quite essential for me. It has a future, now. That's really cool.

Thanks for the fork, @Drarok!

@Drarok it looks like @samsouder looked at this issue a few days ago, and requested PRs; consider submitting your fork as a PR?

I don't think my fork is really in the spirit of mainline Reggy – I completely stripped out OgreKit since I couldn't get it compiling, which in turn removed the multi-language features that I assume people use.
