**[09/07/2021]** Interviewed by AGU science news journal [EOS](https://eos.org/articles/getting-to-the-bottom-of-trawlings-carbon-emissions) highlighting how more studies on the impacts of bottom trawling on sediment biogeochemistry are needed to extrapolate the impacts of this activity at a global scale.
**[24/01/2021]** Interviewed by [Costa Rican newspaper](https://www.ameliarueda.com/nota/pesca-arrastre-impacta-nutrientes-suelo-marino-decadas-noticias-costa-rica) on how bottom trawling depletes organic matter on the deep seafloor, relevant to this country given the recent discussion on lifting the ban of this fishing technique.
