Do some testing with http://code.google.com/p/sipvicious/source/browse/trunk/svwar.py (also look into http://blog.sipvicious.org/ for other ideas) to see which mitigation strategies are best.

This is also a strong argument for having OpenSIPS as the choke server even if having FreeSwitch directly on the frontline would seem OK.
