Does SNOWSQL_ACCOUNT override target uris in sqitch.conf?

Hi there,

Our sqitch.conf file has target uris like:

uri = "db:snowflake://[email protected]/DATABASE?Driver=Snowflake;warehouse=sqitch"

and that all works fine running locally. However, for our CI/CD we need to use the account

uri = "db:snowflake://[email protected]/DATABASE?Driver=Snowflake;warehouse=sqitch"

I tried export SNOWSQL_ACCOUNT=ab12345.eu-west-1.privatelink without success.

We could of course add explicit targets for CI/CD but overriding the account in the build pipeline would be easier.

To answer my own question: The account part of the target uri cannot be overridden. As is explained in the docs:

Sqitch looks for the account code in this order:

1. In the host name of the target URI.
2. In the $SNOWSQL_ACCOUNT environment variable.
3. In the connections.accountname setting in the SnowSQL configuration file.

The username from the target uri can however be overridden with SQITCH_USERNAME.
