Include sub-campaigns in extended search

This extension brings the capability to organize campaigns in hierarchic structures. It would be useful if the sub-campaigns would be included in the search when I am searching e.g. for an activity with a parent campaign.

Example:

• The activity "activity-x" has the campaign "sub-campaign-x"
• I am searching for contacts with "activity-x" and campaign "parent-campaign-x"
• I would like to find all contacts with "activity-x" and a sub-campaign of "parent-campaign-x"

Sounds like a good idea, but aren't you referring to core code with those examples?

Within the campaign manager extension, this should already be the case...

This functionality only makes sense if hierarchic organization is possible. I thought you could extend the core functionality here.
