Describe the solution you'd like

It would be nice to have a writable MQTT topic for displaying a user-defined messages. After a pre-defined timeout, the display will revert to its previous functionality. In my use case, I can periodically display power grid values from the smart meter. Absolutly great would be a scrolling display for longer texts.

if its just for power-meter values, you may check out the fork "openDTU-onBattery". there is an aktive PR that lets you display your powermeter values on OLED
