The trusty repos only have couchdb 1.5.0 which is too old for our app. 1.6.1 came out in 2013 and we'd like to use it in the app. The couchdb project maintains an official PPA, linked to from their download page under 1.6.1: http://couchdb.apache.org/#download -- they control this PPA:
