How to do a meeting

Our monthly meetings are the cornerstone of Tulsa Web Devs activities.

Schedule

Our meetings are on the 3rd Monday of every month at the i2E Tulsa office. For each one we need to:

Online artifacts (~5-10 minutes)

1. Create a post on our website
   • Make sure you check the "Meetings" and "Events" Categories
   • Copy/paste this content into the "Text" tab
   • Update all the {Month}, {Day} tokens
   • Update the Agenda <ul>s with an <li> element for each known announcement or topic

2. Create an event in our Facebook group and link it to the website post.
3. Create an event in our Google+ group and link it to the website post.
4. Update the post you made with links to {facebook-event-url} and {gplus-event-url}
5. Update the RSVP links in the "Home - Call to Action" widget text on the website to match the new Facebook and Google+ event pages
6. Tweet about the event and mention @tulsawebdevs for a retweet

Meeting day logistics

1. Order food by 5pm
   • We typically order delivery from the Domino's downtown close to i2E
     • i2E Tulsa's address is 618 E. 3rd St Tulsa OK 74120
     • Mark the delivery time for 6pm
2. Pick up drinks
   • A few 12-packs of soda
   • A few 6-packs of beer

We have gotten more tight on the agenda - particularly announcements - so we try to stick to this format:
