I guess this is probably a work in progress, but sharing what I found today just in case. Noble packages are now available at https://packagecloud.io/varnishcache/varnish60lts, so I tried to use them to provision a Noble container with 6.0 LTS, but apt fails during installation of the varnish package. I didn't spend much time on it once I found this issue open, but it looks like the Systemd unit is missing in the package:
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/varnish_6.0.13-1~noble_amd64.deb (--unpack):
unable to install new version of '/usr/lib/systemd/system/varnish.service': No such file or directory
Expected Behavior
Varnish 60LTS packages for Ubuntu 24.04 (noble) should be available at packagecloud.io - as stated in tutorials (https://www.varnish-software.com/developers/tutorials/installing-varnish-ubuntu/)
Current Behavior
No results for 24.04 noble:
