[MacOS] App Doesn't Close To Menu Bar/Tray

The app stays in the dock even after closing the app (even with Close to tray enabled)

Version: v5.3.0

M2 Air / MacOS 15.1.1

I don't know what the "dock" is, as I'm not a macOS user, and there is no way I test it in the near future (running macOS under VM is not something I'd ready to jump into).
I guess it's how it's supposed to be there on macOS, but would like to see more opinions from the macOS users other the issue author.

By the way, was it behaving differently in the previous app versions?

No it was not behaving like this in previous build (i can't remember from which version i updated)

Currently with the close to tray option enabled the app stays in both the dock and the menu bar (it used stay only on the menubar/tray in older version)

Thanks for the details. So this is caused by @electron update, since I didn't make any related changes in the code for a long time, and I expect it to be fixed by @electron at some point.
