This has also been happening to me and judging by the smarttubenext subreddit it's been happening to a lot of other people too. Youtube seem to be trying to crack down
Had the same issue: Some videos ask me to sign in, even though it seems I already am.
I deleted all the app's data, and after signing in again the problem was resolved. This method will delete all your settings, so be warned. Just signing out and signing in again may solve the issue, too. Didn't try.
I seem to recall going through this dance occasionally. Don't know if it's a SmartTube or YouTube issue. Would be nice to have it resolved but it's no biggie.
