@tsutterley is this 28MB file already available at another URL? If yes you can just point the download at that URL, otherwise we'll go ahead and add it here

It certainly gives full control. One disadvantage is without markdown headings there is no table of contents on the right side of the website to make navigating to different sections possible.

Yeah I had the idea of remaking the presentation in a notebook, but in a way so it looks like my beamer presentation (and I know html more than Myst). But I'm not happy with how it renders in the book so I'll probably rewrite it again. I also ran into the problem of not having my assets copied to the build folder, which wouldn't have been a problem if I did it right the first time.

Gotcha. I think the export to PDF / latex parity will be much improved in the future https://executablebooks.org/en/latest/blog/2024-05-20-jupyter-book-myst/. But We're not using mystmd yet unfortunately (uwhackweek/jupyterbook-template#170). Feel free to leave this PR and experiment in a new one if you want but the content is great and it currently works if you'd like to just merge it. Thanks for putting this together!

This looks great @tsutterley! In looking through the preview, I caught two headings that rendered overlapping with other cells: ICESat-2 Primary Measurements (near the beginning) and Mission Lifetime (near the end). Not sure if they're easily fixed or not.
