Hypetrigger Companion v0.1.9

Hypetrigger Companion will create a marker for Hypetrigger to detect when processing, this is useful for games that do not provide any text for Hypetrigger to detect.

It will only work while you are playing a game and recording as the marker will be visible in the recording for Hypetrigger to detect.

This program by default will set the Alt key as a Trigger Key while Hypetrigger Companion is running.

It will appear as an icon in the task tray which has a menu when you right-click on the icon.

You can set another key to be the Trigger Key by right clicking the Hypetrigger Companion icon in the Windows task tray (bottom right of your screen), hover your mouse over the "Assign Trigger Key" menu, from there you can select various keys to use as your Trigger Key.

Hypetrigger Companion is designed for Windows 10 and has not been tested on any other versions of Windows.

You can exit Hypetrigger Companion and set the assigned Trigger Key back to its original functionality by right clicking on the Hypetrigger Companion icon in the task tray and selecting the "Exit Hypetrigger Companion" option.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Run HypetriggerCompanion_v0.1.9_install and follow the prompts to install the program.

  1. Run Hypetrigger Companion from the shortcut in the Start Menu, you will now see a new icon appear in your task tray that looks similar to the Hypetrigger icon.

  1. Right-click the Hypetrigger Companion icon and go to the "Assign Trigger Key" submenu, then select your desired Trigger Key from the various submenus. The keys are organised into categories to make it easy.

  1. Test that Hypetrigger Companion is working. You can do this by pressing the assigned Trigger Key and looking for the Hypetrigger logo on your screen, the logo will appear for about 2 seconds.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Hypetrigger Companion will wait for you to press the assigned Trigger Key, when you press that key the Hypetrigger logo will appear on the screen for about 2 seconds, this is to give Hypetrigger something to detect when there is no text to detect.

  1. Hypetrigger Companion will show as an icon in your task tray that looks similar to the Hypetrigger icon, you can right click this icon to configure the program.

  1. Record your gameplay as you normally would. When you want to create an event for Hypetrigger to detect, press the assigned Trigger Key (Alt by default, you can change the assigned key).

  1. After importing your recorded video into Hypetrigger, you will see a "Hypetrigger Companion (tensorflow beta)" config in the config dropdown list, select it and press the "Find Clips" button. You can speed up the process by disabling the OSD position triggers you don't need.

  1. To exit Hypetrigger Companion and return the assigned Trigger Key to its original functionality right-click the Hypetrigger Companion icon in the task tray and select "Exit Hypetrigger Companion".
    This will immediately exit Hypetrigger Companion and return the assigned Trigger Key to its original functionality.
