…to double encoding. The problem was that characters like single quotation marks were escaped by html into escaped characters (e.g. ') that were then escaped by the XmlWriter (the & was escaped into amp;), which was then leading to charactes that could not be interpreted correctly in the UI (the ' was becoming amp;#39;)
