Track time in Harvest directly from your JIRA issues!
Download this JIRA Plugin at: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1211356
As of April 29, 2014 our plugin is also available for OnDemand users! Check it out and give us your feedback!
If you find a bug with the add-on please report it in the Issues section. If possible, include screenshots and debugging information. Here's a quick video on how to enable Debug Mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_Bs5YAxPQQ&list=UUgjnxZVwRoMp1ajkOI4w6iQ
Please make sure the bug has not been reported already. If it has, feel free to comment on the thread to tell us you run into it, too. When reporting an issue please submit as much details as possible, its usually very important for us to be able to duplicate the bug in our own environment.
For support please create a ticket in the Issues section. Make sure you search for your question/issue before submitting it: its very likely someone else already posted it.
- Our plugin is not good at handling time-entries that were NOT created through JIRA. This is due to a limitation on the architecture of the Harvest API and its lack of web-hooks. For a more in-depth discussion on this topic please refer to this issue.
- Users will have to log into their Harvest accounts through our plugin even if they're already logged into the Harvest GUI (e.g. http://yourcompany.harvest.com/). That's because we don't have access to Harvest sessions that were created outside JIRA. This is more of a security feature than a limitation.
