How to Create Announcements

All announcements follow the same format: An image accompanied by a text (which contains a link) and an automatic date.
Announcements are created through the backend "Announcements" Area:
Each Announcements requires:
- An image (can be uploaded directly in the backend interface)
- A date (which is automatically set to the day it's created, but can be changed if needed)
- A checkbox indicating whether the date is displayed or not (some announcements stay in the site for a long time, and we don't want to show their very old dates)
- A position (to set the priority. Smaller number means more priority, means it will go in the top row, left aligned. You can also edit this through the Announcements dashboard, where all active ones are shown. It's easier there!)
- The text (or content).
Images should be created in at least 150 x 150 pixels. All images revert to squares, but you can upload them in any ratio.
It's better to add a white border to the transparent (parts) images (not needed for full width images, usually utilized in games) in order to add some "breathing air" and make the image easier to see. There's no specific size for this border, as all images are created in a different size, but 10% of the total works quite well.

Some rules:
- The content of the Announcements is always regular (plain) text.
- Links do not need to be made bold.
- You can use sentences, but not separate pragraphs.
- Maximum recommended length is 99 characters.
