Installation
There are two ways to install Retrospect, depending on what version of Kodi you are using:
Starting from Kodi Leia (v18), you can easy install Retrospect via the Kodi repository. Either search the add-ons in the Kodi repository for Retrospect and install it. You can also follow these steps (keep in mind they might slightly differ depending on your skin).
- Go to Add-ons
- Add-on Browser
- Install from repository
- Video Add-ons
- Find Retrospect and select it
- Hit Install to install Retrospect
- Agree to install any dependencies that are needed
NOTE: Make sure to enable the Auto-Update option for Retrospect to automatically receive new updates.
NOTE: Retrospect requires the InputStream Adaptive add-on to be installed for Kodi. On some Linux based systems this add-on is installed using sudo apt-get install kodi-inputstream-adaptive
command. However, after a succesful installation, the add-on still needs to be enabled within Kodi. If this add-on is installed, but not enabled, Retrospect cannot be installed within KodiD.
We have a -1/+1 Kodi release policy: we support the previous, the current and the future release of Kodi. So with the release of Kodi Matrix, the support for Kodi Krypton has been removed.
