Installation

There are two ways to install Retrospect, depending on what version of Kodi you are using:

Kodi Leia and later

Starting from Kodi Leia (v18), you can easy install Retrospect via the Kodi repository. Either search the add-ons in the Kodi repository for Retrospect and install it. You can also follow these steps (keep in mind they might slightly differ depending on your skin).

  1. Go to Add-ons
  2. Add-on Browser
  3. Install from repository
  4. Video Add-ons
  5. Find Retrospect and select it
  6. Hit Install to install Retrospect
  7. Agree to install any dependencies that are needed

NOTE: Make sure to enable the Auto-Update option for Retrospect to automatically receive new updates.

NOTE: Retrospect requires the InputStream Adaptive add-on to be installed for Kodi. On some Linux based systems this add-on is installed using sudo apt-get install kodi-inputstream-adaptive command. However, after a succesful installation, the add-on still needs to be enabled within Kodi. If this add-on is installed, but not enabled, Retrospect cannot be installed within KodiD.

Kodi Krypton

We have a -1/+1 Kodi release policy: we support the previous, the current and the future release of Kodi. So with the release of Kodi Matrix, the support for Kodi Krypton has been removed.
