From the community backlog session: this PR is a little hard to review as it mixes code logic changes with documentation changes. Would you be able to separate these into two PRs so we can review them independently? Thanks. |

In preparation for hopefully more changes to the help system (be it by me or by others) I decided to do a light clean-up pass over the help module.
