Steam GDS is obsolete

As few visitors already discovered... there are many out of date entries in my templates like the GDS from Valve Corporation.

GDS was a service by service to e.g. check following stuff

  1. Management and distribution of game files on the Steam platform.
  2. Verification of ownership
  3. Detection of any updates
  4. Includes metadata, checksums, file fragments, and information about individual product titles

If you find the entries disturbing, you are welcome to delete them yourself. In a good editor with Search/Replace function this should be possible in a few seconds.

Deletion of GDS in published templates

Since each product is tested manually and may include services other than Valve's (even retroactively), the process takes time. At the moment (01.09.2022) there are 352 games left with GDS.
