SMRT View is downloaded from the server every time you access it

Check the Java temporary file setting to ensure that Java files are being cached. This keeps SMRT View in memory so that you only need to download it once.

Windows XP/Windows 7: Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel > Java. On the General Tab, click the Settings button. If necessary, select the keep temporary files on my computer option and click OK.
